Thinking about how this new piece I am awash in might come together, is coming to me like a flower blossoming.  Here is where I am right now.
Thinking of doing it in someone's house.  Designating rooms for things to happen.  The event is a writing workshop/performance.  People arrive and they are given small beautiful journals and a writing implement of their choice. In groups of 12 (or the whole audience is limited to 12 per night), they move from room to room.  Borrowing ideas from fairy tale tropes, there are writing  prompts in many rooms.  For instance (building on Goldilocks and the 3 Bears) - you go into a bedroom and someone is in the bed, under mounds of covers.  There is an elegant little card (like the name cards on wedding tables) with the writing prompt: "Who is sleeping in your bed?".  Music is playing.  Audience is given time minutes to journal on that question.
At a door that leads to who knows where, a sign with the writing prompt: "What is the wolf at your door?"
In addition to these writing prompt rooms, one room contains my performance of "Once Upon a Time -Wolf".  My idea is that also other artists who are interested in working with fairy tale tropes would set up their own performances in different rooms as well.  And there would also be a salon room, where people could come and share aloud their writings with one another. If a house has room for it, we could sometimes have a ball as part of the evening.  With a writing prompt, "Where and when did you lose your shoe?"
I could see this as an event that could happen anywhere that someone wanted to submit their home for this kind of art event.  Anywhere in the world!  Engaging local artists in the project wherever it goes.
